chongsah – Great recipe! I just made this tonight and was so pleased with the results and so was my hubby! I did use a 9 x 13 pan as suggested by the many reviews but I do think I will try it in the larger jelly roll pan next time. I had to bake mine for 30 minutes but I’m sure it is because of my oven. They turned out golden brown on the top and soft and chewy on the inside. Served warm with vanilla ice cream. WONDERFUL!”

Junkie – These are great!!! I left the vanilla out on accident and found a suggestion that was fabulous! 1 teaspoon of instant coffee, 1 teaspoon vanilla and a pinch of salt. Easier to work into the dough and the coffee enhanced the flavor of the chocolate.”

Mountainbaby – This is a wonderful classic recipe that I’ve been making for years. The recipe I received years ago indicated a 9×13 pan and that’s what I’ve always used baking at 350 for about 27 min. I follow the recipe exactly, but sometimes add an additional 1/4 c. of chips. Anyone who likes chocolate should like these pan cookies. The idea of adding peanut butter or M&Ms seems like fun. Thanks for sharing.”

“This is the best cookie ever! It has amazing flavor and is so chewy. The hardest part of making these cookies is not eating the whole batch by yourself in one sitting! Whenever I take these to a bake sale or party, they’re always the first one to go! I absolutely recommend making these cookies!”
